Terms and Conditions

By installing and using the ScamWarden Chrome extension ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Extension.

ScamWarden provides an AI-powered text analysis service that helps identify potential scams. The service:

• Analyzes selected text for potential scam indicators
• Provides scam probability ratings
• Offers detailed analysis of suspicious content
• Operates on a credit-based system

3.1 Account Creation

To use the Extension, you must create an account using either Google or Facebook authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Credit System

The Extension operates on a credit-based system:

• New users receive 10 free analysis credits
• Each text analysis consumes 1 credit
• Additional credits can be purchased
• Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable

You agree to use the Extension in accordance with these guidelines:

• Use the Extension for legitimate purposes only
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the Extension
• Do not use automated tools to access the service
• Respect intellectual property rights when selecting text for analysis

The Extension is provided "as is" without any warranties. While we strive to provide accurate scam analysis, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all results. The Extension is a tool to assist in decision-making and should not be the sole basis for any decisions.

ScamWarden shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Extension. This includes any decisions made based on the analysis provided by the Extension.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Extension at any time without notice. We may also modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the Extension after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms and Conditions. Upon termination, your right to use the Extension will cease immediately.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
